Learninghubz is committed to the protection of the Personal Data entrusted to it. For this reason, all information of a personal nature is treated and protected with the greatest possible care, always in accordance with the applicable national law and with Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of 27 April on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation).

This Privacy Policy describes who we are, for what purposes we may process your data, how we process it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, as well as ways to contact us and exercise your rights.

About the company

Learninghubz,Lda (hereinafter referred to as "Learninghubz", "we", "us" or "the Company"), will handle your personal data (also referred to in this policy as "information") in accordance with the purposes described below. Learninghubz is the controller of personal data ('controller' within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation).

Why do we need your information?

The Company will process your personal data for the following purposes:

The Learninghubz website may request personal information from you, such as your first and last name and email address, so that we can send you information about our products and services, newsletter, marketing support, invitations etc...You have the option to unsubscribe from all Learninghubz Newsletters lists and information services, and if you do so your data will no longer be processed for these purposes.

For the Learninghubz service to be provided, users must not only be part of a service contract between their employer (or any other type, or have requested a demonstration of the service) and Learninghubz, but they must also provide their first and last name and email address. This data is essential for the provision of the service contracted to Learninghubz and will never be shared or used for any other purpose than the provision of the contracted service.

In the latter context, your platform usage data (such as content viewed) is also made available to the administrator in charge of the contracted service provider for usage reporting and data analysis purposes.

Non-Identifying Information

Whenever you visit our Web Site or Platform we may collect non-identifying information such as your IP address, referring URL, browser, operating system, cookie information and Internet Service Provider. Without a subpoena, voluntary compliance by your Internet Service Provider, or additional third party records, this information alone cannot be used to identify you.

How will my information be used?

Your data will be processed by LEARNINGHUBZ applying appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a high level of security:

Improving the user experience of our website or service;

Sending emails about our service or answering questions;

To send emails and updates about Learninhubz, including newsletters and notifications of changes to legal documents, such as this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service;

Allow users and administrators of the contracting authority to monitor learning progress on the platform;

To implement different features of the service (e.g. recommendations, feedback);

Perform any other function we believe necessary to protect the security or proper functioning of our Site or Service.

How long will you keep my information?

Your personal information will be retained for as long as there is a contractual relationship between the employer and Learninghubz, or the demonstration period.

Will my information be shared with others?

Learninghubz uses the services of other contractual partners for the provision of the service, who are bound by the highest levels of security and protection of personal data (For example, Intercom is certified by the U.S.-U.S. Privacy Shield and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield and integrates EU Standard Contractual Clauses June 2021).

All our contractual partners are obliged to treat personal data confidentially and to use it only for purposes related to services or transactions on behalf of Learninghubz. You can see list of contractual partners in Appendix A.

Your platform usage data (such as content viewed) is made available to the administrators of the contracting entity for the purpose of reporting usage and recording time and trainings conducted by employees.

Your data will be processed within the European Union and in countries whose level of protection has been deemed adequate by the European Commission.

Learninghubz will not transmit your personal data to third parties without your consent.

What are my rights?

At any time,you can request from us:

Access to the data we hold about you;

The rectification of information if it is factually incorrect;

To object, delete or limit the processing of the data we hold about you;

If the processing is dependent on your consent or agreement and it is carried out by automated means, you have the right to the sending of the personal data previously provided, in a structured, commonly used and computer-readable format.

Your requests will be handled with special care so that we can ensure the effectiveness of your rights. You may be asked to provide proof of your identity in order to ensure that personal data is only shared with the data subject.

You should be aware that in certain cases, under applicable law, your request may not be immediately or fully met.

In any case, you will be informed of the measures taken to do so within one month of the request being made.

Can I revoke consent later?

If consent is legally required for the processing of personal data the data subject has the right to withdraw consent at any time, although this right shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent previously given, nor the further processing of the same data based on another ground, such as the performance of the contract or the legal obligation to which Learninghubz is subject.

Can I object to the use of my information?

If data processing is carried out for direct marketing purposes you can still object to the processing of your personal data at any time.

Cookies

In order to provide better service to you, we use cookies, which are small text files that are placed on your hard disk by a web page server.

This technology is used by Learninghubz mainly to:

Allow us to know who our visitors are and thus provide a better, safer and more personalized service;

To know how our website is performing and to be able to update and improve it to meet our customers' expectations.
